Dr. Corrado Sommariva is a globally recognized consultant specializing in desalination, power generation, wastewater management, and sustainability. With over 30 years of experience in the field, he has held various executive positions in leading consultancy firms for the past two decades. His expertise has made him a sought-after authority in these critical areas of environmental engineering.

Dr. Sommariva has held prominent leadership roles, including serving as the President of the International Desalination Association from 2011 to 2013 and the President of the European Desalination Society from 2004 to 2006. He was also the Chairman of the World Health Organization (WHO) committee on safe water use from desalination, contributing to global water safety standards.
